News From Our AGM
Donegal Women In Business Network AGM, held on 22/3/22 via Zoom was bittersweet, as we bid farewell to some long serving committee members, Evelyn Mc Marketing & Trish McGinley who served the network for 6 years as our fabulous Secretary and PRO. We also said farewell to Leah Fairman, JKS Design , Leah Fairman and Martina Rafferty. Huge thanks to each committee member for all their hard work and commitment.
In particular, I would like to mention Trish and Evelyn, I wouldn’t like to count the number of hours, days, weeks, and months that they have spent voluntarily working for the Network. They have done this because they truly believe in supporting women in business, and they understand the strength that comes from women working together. Our Marketing and Public Relations Officer, Meg O’Gara produced a fabulous short video as a way to say thank to this dynamic duo. In case you missed, you can watch it here.
But it wasn’t all farewells….we welcomed some new committee members and look forward the next chapter with a newly formed #DWIBN committee in place.
In February we put a call out to our members asking people to step forward to help build on the work that has been completed. We were delighted to hear from some fantastic members who are willing to commit their time and energy. We feel that we have found the people with the right skills, the right experience, and most importantly, a high level of enthusiasm. We have elected some new members to the committee who I am sure will be able to build on what came before. I would like to welcome

They will join our existing committee of Jo Daly (President), Larissa Feeney (Vice President), Meg O’Gara (Marketing and Public Relations Officer), Mihaela Iftime(Treasurer), Sheila Russell and Sally Murphy.
