New Skills with Donegal Women in Business Network
My name is Ciara and I am the marketing intern with the Donegal Women In Business Network. I attended two workshops provided exclusively to DWIBN members by Donegal ETB.
The Donegal Women in Business Network aims to provide resources, support and a community to female entrepreneurs and women in business at any stage of their journey. A benefit of being a member is access to exclusive workshops.
Donegal ETB generously facilitated two workshops for our members at their Letterkenny training centre on January 16th and February 6th. These workshops were titled “Selling Online Effectively” and “Content Creation” respectively. Each of the workshops had an inspiring and educational atmosphere and there was plenty of information to be shared amongst the attendees as we learned more about each other’s businesses.
Selling Online Effectively was taught by Laura Gallagher of BeOnline. At this workshop we learned all about Facebook ads, TikTok Shop, e-commerce websites and more!
Content Creation was taught by Kevin Dooher, known online as The Wild Atlantic Traveller. Kevin taught us all about how to make good content, from what apps to use, hooks that engage followers, props you can buy and tips and tricks (even as simple as making sure your phone’s camera is clean)!
Each workshop provided important knowledge for anyone in business in the modern age of technology. Thank you to Laura and Kevin for teaching us and thank you to Donegal ETB for providing these workshops for our members.
