It’s hard is to maintain a healthy lifestyle when we are in the middle of a pandemic. Uncertainty about finances; caring responsibilities, and job insecurity unsettle our day-to-day life, and of course our mental health.
Our Mind, Body & Soul event will be a chance for you to take time out and to think about your own self-care at the end of a challenging year. Take time to get comfortable before you join us online. Light the fire, put on your comfy clothes, and create a lovely relaxing vibe. Light a nice candle or burn some incense, and bring your crystals and angel cards if you use them.
The new realities of working from home, temporary unemployment, home-schooling of children, and the lack of physical contact with other family members, friends and colleagues is hard on us all.
Daily news coverage of Covid-19 (although there is some hope on the horizon now), and the saturation of the same on social media, only serves to exacerbate our anxiety. And, stress is a normal response to these types of situations. Stress disturbs our sleeping and eating patterns, leads to irritability or emotional outbursts, and low motivation.
We have 4 great speakers, and members of the Donegal Women in Business Network, all from the health & wellness sector, who will share their knowledge and leave us with some great tips on how to help you manage stress to promote your personal wellbeing and mental health.
There will also be a free draw!
Each speaker is giving away a FREE one-to-one session relating to their particular area of expertise. Full details tomorrow night. Only people that attend the event will be eligible.
Although this event is free, we are asking for donations to Donegal Women’s Centre. To find out more about their work, do check out their website page.
So, why not join us for an evening of mindfulness, reflection, self-kindness and communication.
