Sara has three main strands to her work. Life coaching, Trainer & Facilitator, and running a series of programs under the umbrella 'Compassionate Classes'.
Sara is a Life Coach based in Donegal Donegal and offers a space where clients can explore their life, identify the changes they want to make their life more happy and fulfilling, clarify goals, and work towards creating the life that they want. Sara has a vast background in training and personal experience that she brings to the sessions, according to the needs of the client. Sara uses EFT, a tapping technique in the coaching sessions. The Tapping Coach. EFT is a powerful way to shift thoughts and behaviors that may be holding you back and can really get to the core of issues causing stress to clients. Over a series of sessions, clients can expect to feel happier and more relaxed in themselves, empowered to go out into the world, reach their potential and be their best self.
Sara also facilitates personal development workshops and courses, both face to face and online. She has a wide range of experiences and training and can both deliver specific courses and also she is available to design and tailor a course to meet the needs of a group / project.
Sara works as an independent trainer for Lifestart, offering their program, Shaping ourselves and our Children, which focuses on child development and how to raise a child to value diversity.
Sara has a series of programs she runs focusing on Compassion. She has run Compassionate Classrom in primary schools, helping children develop empathy, gratitude, mindfulness and compassion for self and others. This program has received very positive feedback from the children and the schools. Sara is looking at developing this program further to more schools. Sara also has designed a new program Compassionate Women, which is aimed at women’s groups. The first course was to run the end of March, and this then had to be delayed because of the Covid 19. Sara is currently exploring offering online the Compassionate Classroom, Compassionate Women and a Compassionate Home which works with individual families, to help the family develop compassion in the home.
Sara has over 30 years in personal development and growth, both professionally and personally, and is passionate about spreading the word about self compassion and the benefit it can bring individuals and society at large. She has trained in Life coaching, EFT, Conflict resolution, Peacebuilding, Dramatherapy, Non Violent Communication, Focusing, Mindfulness and Diversity training.
In a voluntary capacity, Sara has recently set up and hosts a Happy Café in Donegal Town which is part of the Happy Café Global network , which is run by the Action for Happiness Group. The Happy Cafe currently meets weekly on Zoom.
