Donegal Women in Business Network hosted a night of learning and connecting at Harvey’s Point Hotel.

A very successful #speed networking event recently took place at Harvey’s Point hotel in Donegal, hosted by Donegal Women in Business Network. The event was oversubscribed, with attendees coming from various parts of Donegal, including Inishowen and even Mayo, which is a testament to the value and importance of such events.

The fact that the event was oversubscribed indicates a high level of interest and enthusiasm within the region for networking and connecting events like these.

Larissa Feeney, the president of the network, said, “We are delighted with the success of this event and the value it brings to women in business in the region. Donegal Women in Business is a peer support group for all women with an interest in business. We welcome those who work in great businesses, have an idea for a startup one day, or are currently building and growing their business.”

Prior to a very successful and well-organized speed networking session, Cathy Kelly Sweeney, Marketing Consultant, and Executive Coach, provided valuable knowledge, including top tips on delivering the perfect pitch.

Antoinette Moore, MSc Ed & T Holistic School Principal, and Business Coach spoke about body wellness and the value of tapping into the body’s natural system with hand reflexology. Supporting those about to begin their networking journey, Antoinette gave a demonstration on how to use hand reflexology in a holistic approach to master the art of networking and delivering a pitch with confidence.

Networking events are not just about business transactions; they’re also about building connections, sharing experiences, and learning from one another. The event succeeded in fostering a sense of community and collaboration among all who attended on the night.

Overall, the event was a tremendous success.
